Working intuitively with gesture, color, and varied textures, her paintings build atmosphere through instinctive mark making and layered surfaces, often drawing from travel, photography, and lived experience. Created exclusively for Tacit, Danesis newest series, Memories Left Behind, is informed by her time spent in Marfa, Texas. The
