Nose: Very rich and complex on the nose with a rich dark fruit underlay that has some sweet spices and a very old school hints of candied orange and lemon

rather like the sweet smokiness of a fading wood fire with the fruity richness of ripe plums

hints of spices and almonds

Palate: Somewhat fresher than expected on the front of the palate with a citrus not and warming spices building with gusto as we reach the mid plate of wood smoke and pepper
